After six years building sports cars, a year building race engines and three years as a race car fabricator, Kerry Holland formed Top Gear Autotech in early 2004. A start was made in smaller premises before expansion forced a move in 2006 to a much bigger and better building at 38b Allens Road, East Tamaki.


The new shop has lifted the profile of Top Gear Autotech to a new level of interest amongst the car crowd with a huge variety of makes and models coming through for all kinds of custom fabrication. Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Honda can be seen next to BMW, Alfa Romeo, TVR, Mini, Holden, Ford, Chrysler and one of a kind sports cars.
